Thinking of Bach. The musicians of the Tetraktis Quartet, an inventive and original percussion ensemble, asked six living Italian composers to rethink as many Preludes and Fugues of the Well-Tempered Clavier for the timbre, sound and colors of their instruments. A project that makes use of the collaboration with the harpsichordist Enrico Baiano who mirrows each of those ‘reinventions’ respective to their original versions, suggesting the return to Bach to be like a return to the roots of Western musical civilization.
