Jan Michiels

The 57-year-old Belgian pianist Jan Michiels established himself  at the music scene since his victory at the 1991 edition of the  Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. An interpreter of fine thought immersed in his time, creator of poetic correspondences. A faithful image of it is the program of this concert,  which intertwines the following  reflections on the time of Carlo Rovelli  with  the Preludes of Chopin and Debussy, the Studies of Ligeti and the “Stanze” of the Italian composer and poet Osvaldo Coluccino.
