Francesco Cera, together with his Ensemble Arte Musica, puts at the core of its  interpretative work the  Responsoria composed by Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa for  l’Ufficio delle Tenebre (The Office of Darkness), a masterpiece printed in 1611 which was intended to be performed during the Holy Week. In this unpublished Passion of Christ, the evocative power of the Gospel story merges fully with the  ever changing expressive intensity of Gesualdo’s responsories.
