Opera Gala

The “school” of Raina Kabaivanska is undoubtedly one of the most renowned in Europe. For a quarter of a century, the great Bulgarian soprano has dedicated herself passionately to training new talents. Two of her best students are the stars of the traditional opera gala at the Bologna Festival: Iolanda Massimo, a graduate of the Perosi Conservatory in Campobasso, already on the path to a solid professional career, and Giuseppe Michelangelo Infantino, winner of numerous competitions and a frequent presence in many theaters. Accompanied by pianist Paolo Andreoli, the two performers will present some classic pieces from 19th-century Italian opera.
