A talented pupil from Albania, 17-year-old Ruben Xhaferi started studying piano at the age of five and participated in his first piano competition when he was only eight. Now a student at the Conservatorio di Bologna, Xhaferi displays impressive technique and maturity for his young age. Among his many teachers with whom he studied we can mention Sandro Baldi, Vincenzo Balzani, Andrzej Jasinski and Lilya Zilberstein. He presents himself at Pianofortissimo & Talents with a beautiful programme, built on his favourite repertoire: classical and romantic, with music by Beethoven, Liszt, Schubert-Liszt and Chopin.
