Two children of music, two prodigies on a journey: Vassilena Serafimova, an extraordinary marimba player, and Thomas Enhco, a jazz pianist in search of freedom. Both performers and composers, they met in 2009 and have since performed together all over the world, often presenting new creations. In their first album, “Funambules,” reimaginings of Mozart and Saint-Saëns meet with original compositions reconciling centuries of music, fidelity, and invention. “Bach Mirror,” released by Sony Music in 2021, strengthens their magical alchemy.
