The GuiBassHarmony

The trio consisting of guitar, accordion, and double bass has an illustrious past, closely tied (with the addition of the bandoneón) to Argentine folk music, but it also enjoys a vibrant present, exemplified by the famous New York Trio of Richard Galliano. The Trio GuiBassHarmony, founded by Lorenzo Ottaviani (guitar), Emanuele Moretti (accordion), and Luca Ziliani (double bass), fits into this tradition while renewing it, creating an original blend of bossa nova, Argentine tango, and French chanson. The concert offers a “journey through the harmonies of two continents,” drawing a bridge between Piazzolla’s nuevo tango, Edith Piaf, French jazz, and American song.
