Maria Perrotta will perform Bach’s immense masterpiece, the Goldberg Variations, taking over from Antonio Piricone, who is currently unable to perform the opening concert of Pianofortissimo & Talenti. Maria Perrotta has a special connection with the Goldberg Variations, an unparalleled example of piano technique and high inspiration, which she recorded for the first time in 2012, establishing herself on international stages as one of the most authoritative interpreters of Bach’s music on the piano.
