A concert celebrating the rich sounds, vibrant colors, and captivating atmospheres of the vast Arab world, featuring the exceptional Rula Jaradat, a Jordanian musician and renowned qanun virtuoso. With its 78 strings stretched across an intricately carved wooden trapezoid, the qanun is a mesmerizing and “magical” instrument, steeped in an aura of sacredness and a pillar of traditional Arab instrumental music. Joining her in this musical journey through Arab heritage is the talented percussionist and vocalist, Ali Belazi.
