Federico Zaltron, an Italian violinist who lives between Berlin and France, and Duved Dunayevsky, a French guitarist who seems like the “reincarnation” of Django Reinhardt, take on the gypsy-jazz or jazz manouche repertoire, a “hot” fusion of Gypsy music with black jazz. This style was invented by Django Reinhardt, the legendary guitarist of Sinti origin, son of Gypsy nomads, who was handicapped in his left hand due to a fire that destroyed his caravan. His original and unique music comes to life in two devoted musicians who met in Paris eight years ago. Joining them on guitar and double bass are two Italian musicians linked by their passion for manouche music.
